Pumpkin Smoothie

It is officially Pumpkin Spice season but with the temperature in the 80s, I am not ready for a latte anytime soon. Luckily, a pumpkin smoothie is quite refreshing and you still get to indulge in that amazing pumpkin spice flavor.

Tips;

  • Anytime I have overripe bananas I peel them and put them in a Ziploc freezer bag to store in the freezer for when I want to make smoothies – I NEVER put ice in smoothies.

  • When using my blender I start with the setting “blend” and then move on to “liquify” so the smoothie turns out creamy and with no lumps.

  • Whipped cream makes everything taste better.

Pumpkin Smoothie
Ingredients
  • 1 frozen banana sliced
  • 1 c pumpkin
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp honey (add more if needed)
Instructions
  1. Slice up your frozen banana and add to the blender.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and press blend.

  3. Use a rubber scraper to scrape the sides if needed and press liquify.

  4. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
