Super simple to make, these yummy M&M Pretzel Ring Bites is the Christmas cookie recipe you’ve been waiting for. Great to make with kids, the pretzel ring cookies are also the perfect size to pop in your mouth. The only problem is knowing when to stop.
Another great aspect of this recipe is that there are only three ingredients – I like that! Definitely get the pretzel rings. Sure you can make the recipe with the checkboard pretzels but I feel they don’t look as good as the rings and the Kisses don’t stay on as well.
First, preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Then cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and place pretzel rings on top.
Unwrap all your Kisses. I chose to use the Candy Cane Kisses because I think they look more festive plus they give the bites a peppermint flavor. Any type of Kisses will do though. Place one Kiss in the middle of each pretzel ring.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 3 – 4 minutes. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and immediately place an M&M on top of each Kiss. I like to use the red and green M&M candies and flip them so the “m” is not showing.
I try to center the M&M over the point of the Kiss so when I press the M&M down the Kiss spreads out to all sides of the pretzel ring.
Next, I transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator to let the bites cool and harden before storing. This should take at minimum ten minutes. I prefer to store the pretzel ring bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator because I think they taste better cold but that’s just my opinion.
I hope you enjoy these tasty M&M Pretzel Ring Bites!
A bite-sized treat consisting of a pretzel ring, Kiss chocolate, and an M&M candy. This is a perfect recipe if you are looking for an easy and fast Christmas "cookie".
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place as many pretzel rings as you can fit on the parchment paper.
Unwrap all your Kisses and top each pretzel ring with a Kiss.
Place the baking sheet in the oven for 3-4 minutes.
Take the baking sheet out of the oven and immediately press an M&M down onto the point of the Kiss. This will help spread the chocolate out to fill the pretzel ring.
Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator to let pretzel bites cool and harden for at least ten minutes.
Repeat as needed until you have used all your Kisses. You will have M&Ms and pretzel rings left over. Enjoy!
I prefer to store the pretzel ring bites in an air-tight container in the refrigerator but you don’t have to. I just think they taste even better cold!
