Winter Bucket List Printables

It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of winter. I despise the cold, the snow, and how everything looks dead. The only way to help keep my spirits lifted during the season is to have fun activities to look forward to. By creating a winter bucket list full of events to attend, food to enjoy, and family fun activities, winter becomes slightly more bearable. You’ll find free printables below to help create your own winter bucket list.

Create a Winter Bucket List

Tip #1 – Be Realistic

Consider your time, budget, and energy level when creating your winter bucket list.

Would I love to go on a vacation someplace warm this winter – absolutely! But that is not realistic this year. I have a newborn and taking a trip far away with four kids ages five and under isn’t in the budget right now. Plus, I doubt I would feel very relaxed trying to control that chaos.

Tip #2 – Select Quality Over Quantity

There’s no competition to see what family can squeeze in as many winter activities as possible. Instead, focus on bucket list items that will bring you the most joy.

Don’t especially enjoy skiing? Then don’t put it on your list! What are the events and activities you would be upset about if you missed out on them this winter? Add those to your winter bucket list!

Tip #3 – Use Vague Language

Don’t box yourself in with specifics. Things can come up that might hinder your plans.

Instead of writing down every single type of cookie you want to bake just write “bake cookies”. Then if sickness or busy schedules get in the way you won’t feel bad if you don’t get to make all the different kinds.

Tip: We incorporate many of our winter bucket list items into our POCKET ADVENT CALENDAR.
