Easy Weekly Meals Your Family Will Love – Week #6

Are you surviving Daylight Saving Time? This week has started out rough and that is why I am including TWO slow cooker meals this week (see Tuesday and Sunday) because when your schedule is off your slow cooker will be your best friend. I hope you enjoy this month’s weekly meal plan.

Don’t forget, if you sign up for my monthly newsletter directly below you gain access to all my FREE grocery shopping lists for these weekly meal plans!

Monday – Meatless Monday

Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup, and Grapes

The perfect comfort food is a grilled cheese sandwich. Add some tomato soup and fruit and you’ve got yourself a fast and easy meal. Bonus – kids will definitely eat this dinner!

Tuesday – Slow Cooker Recipe

Chicken & Dumplings and Mixed Vegetables

This Chicken and Dumplings recipe is delicious. With the use of a refrigerated can of biscuits and a slow cooker, this dinner is simply made. BUT . . . the biscuits need to be added the last hour of cooking. Make sure to make this meal on a day that you have time to add the biscuits an hour before you need to serve dinner.

Wednesday – Breakfast for Dinner

Waffles, Hashbrowns, and Raspberries

Lately, I’ve been using boxed pancake mix to make my waffles for convenience and time-savings. If you choose to make your waffles from scratch be sure to update the grocery list!

Also, I prefer the carton of hashbrowns you find in the canned foods aisles. I think they come out more crunchy and take a lot less time.

Thursday – Leftovers

Friday – Family Favorites

Cobb Salad and Bread

I like to cook my hard-boiled eggs and bacon in advance so when it comes time to plating the salad this dinner can be used on a night you are crunched for time.

You can serve the salad with toasted Italian bread left over from the night you made grilled cheese.

Saturday – Eat Out or Order In

Sunday – Multicultural Night

Mongolian Beef with Rice and Asian Veggies

One of our favorite slow cooker dinners to make is Mongolian Beef. You get that take-out flavor without having to leave home (or get delivery).

Weekly Dessert

Picture was taken before the sugar topping.

Creme Brulee

I don’t know why I don’t think to make Creme Brulee more often. It’s fast, easy, and inexpensive! You don’t even need a torch to melt the sugar on top to get that solid layer. Instead, turn your oven to broil for a few minutes but watch the desserts carefully so the sugar doesn’t burn!

Are you in need of more dinner ideas? Here is my Weekly Meal Plan #5!
