I love having a vacation to look forward to. Even if that vacation is only an hour away for a quick weekend! A couple of weeks ago we planned a short indoor water park weekend and I have to say my expectations were exceeded. It was a stress-free weekend with five adults and three toddlers. Here are my tips for planning a fun indoor water park trip of your own.
Back in October, the kids and I tagged along to Minneapolis on my husband’s work conference trip. Several things were rough about the trip (baby refusing to sleep, horrible parking ramps, hotel pool closures, etc) but the outings I planned during the day were awesome! If you find yourself in the Twin Cities with young kids you might want to check them out.
These seasonal weekly calendars are the most used and requested printables I have ever made. I don’t go a day without looking at our weekly calendar. Each week it’s filled out with our schedule posted prominently on our refrigerator. The calendars help with reminders of all kinds (school, medical appointments, activities, etc) and help facilitate communication between myself and my husband. Plus, every night at dinner we glance over at it to discuss the next day’s plan with our kids. I hope you find these calendar printables as helpful as we do.
Now that my daughter is almost 18 months I feel I have a good grasp on what makes the perfect gift for a 1-year-old. I always struggle with gift-giving, especially when it comes to children and what toys are appropriate for what ages. The suggested ages on the packaging are always wrong. I hope some of you are able to benefit from my new-found knowledge of what makes the best gifts for a 1-year-old.
