Easy Weekly Meals Your Family Will Love – Week #9

I love the summer. But I don’t want huge dinners that take forever to make in a hot kitchen. That’s why this week I included skewers on the grill again plus two breakfasts for dinner, one is sweet while the other is savory. I hope you enjoy these recipes.

Easy Weekly Meals Your Family Will Love – Week #7

I know many of you are now making more food at home than ever before thanks to quarantine. If you’re like me, meal planning can be a real chore. To solve this problem, I am developing meal plans consisting of five dinners and one dessert so you can take meal planning off your to-do list.

Cream Puffs

I was pretty disappointed when I heard the Wisconsin State Fair was canceled this year because of COVID. How was I going to get my giant cream puffs? After a completely botched attempt following someone else’s recipe, I decided to create my own (regular-sized) cream puffs. I feel this cream puff recipe is easy to follow plus super tasty! It’s a hardy pastry shell that can handle heavier fillings. I filled them with a basic whipped cream this time but I can’t wait to try pastry cream, lemon curd, etc. I’ll definitely want to cover them in chocolate at some point too – the possibilities are endless.

With nice weather finally arriving I can’t wait to grill out more. The Greek kabobs (see Sunday’s meal) reminded me how wonderful it is to grill out and eat in your backyard. Food just tastes better outside, if the weather is nice. I hope you find some new recipes to try out in this weekly meal plan.

The Most Addicting Chex Mix Recipe Ever

My stepdad makes the most addicting Chex mix. Any time our family goes home for a holiday or somewhere together on vacation we insist he make it. Unfortunately, because of social distancing, we won’t be able to see him for a number of weeks (months?) so I am going to have to make this recipe myself in order to get my fix.
