I did a lot of reading in May including many popular new releases. I had multiple five-star reads this month and that never happens! From my reviews below I hope you find a book to start your summer reading off right.

I read eleven books in April. A number of them were historical fiction and I was mostly disappointed in the genre that used to sustain my soul. Luckily, I have four book reviews below that I do recommend and offer variety.

It doesn’t feel like spring today but a few of the books I review below would be perfect to take on a spring break trip or will at least get you in a sunnier mood. I’ve read 34 books since the beginning of the year.
