Paw Patrol Birthday Party

My two youngest children are OBSESSED with Paw Patrol. Every day they spend significant time playing with their Paw Patrol toys together. Anytime we go to the library they insist on checking out Paw Patrol books even if we have read one of the stories a million times already. With birthdays close together it was a no-brainer to have a combined Paw Patrol birthday party.

I like to keep my parties simple and inexpensive. Kids don’t care about balloon arches and picture-perfect place settings. Children want the cake to taste good and are excited about presents. Here is what we did for the combined Paw Patrol birthday party in case you would like some inspiration;

I used Canva to quickly whip up an invitation to print at home on photo paper. I grabbed the Paw Patrol image from Google Images and easily erased the background since I am a premium Canva member.

I bought this Paw Patrol decorations set which includes a banner, tablecloth, balloons, plates, and napkins.

Then I used this poster on the wall behind the head of the table.

When it came to the birthday cake I first showed my son several Paw Patrol decorated cake images online and he selected the easiest one (hooray!). This Paw Patrol birthday cake design is beyond simple to make – highly recommend!

I used this chocolate cake recipe and definitely will again in the future.

Gifts certainly don’t have to all be Paw Patrol-themed (and I don’t think they should be!) but here are a few that my kids have loved;

Paw Patrol Water Bottle

Paw Patrol Vehicle

Paw Patrol Book

Paw Patrol Figures

Paw Patrol DVD

I’m not usually a huge fan of favor bags at parties because I think it usually leads to a lot of plastic waste. For this birthday, we chose to not hand out any favors at school and instead gave these bags to the few kids who came to the birthday party.

The reusable Paw Patrol bags I put the favors in I found at Dollar Tree.

Paw Patrol Puffy Sticker Books (I got the flip-flap pad but I think the puffy sticker books are better!)
