Do babies really need all this stuff? No, not exactly but a lot of these items can definitely make a parent’s life easier and a baby much happier! Make sure to add these gear (travel, play, development, etc) items to your baby registry because they tend to be on the more expensive side and you’ll be surprised at what your generous family and friends are willing to buy you.

I decided to invent the oatmeal cream pie cookie cup and I am very happy with the results. This recipe is super easy to make and the cookies are very filling. I promise to type up the mini version soon!
We just had my sister’s baby shower and I decided to use distressed mason jars as centerpieces. I knew it would be cheaper than purchasing a bunch of fresh bouquets and I liked that I could finish the centerpieces ahead of time.
Painting and distressing mason jars turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. With just a few simple steps these mason jars make the perfect home and seasonal decor – especially for spring!
Now that my daughter is almost 18 months I feel I have a good grasp on what makes the perfect gift for a 1-year-old. I hope some of you are able to benefit from my new-found knowledge of what makes the best gifts for a 1-year-old.
