March 2019 Book Reviews and Recommendations

Four new book reviews and recommendations for the month of March. Ranging from a thriller full of plot twists to a romance in which the main characters seem fated to be together but are always in different places in life, these books are perfect for your next read! #bookstoread #amreading #booklovers #whattoread

A number of the books I read this month don’t give away the whole plot at the beginning like so many usually do – I love this! Instead, the reader learns more and more as the story progresses. These are very popular books and will help you chat with friends and colleagues who have read them as well.  See below to check out what I read for March.

Cabin Fever Movies

cozy winter

It snowed today . . . again. Seriously, is this winter ever going to end? We have been stuck inside so many days because of dangerous roads, wind chill, or below freezing temps and we are starting to get cabin fever. Here are some movies to watch when you are in the depths of this horrible season.

Mini Flourless Chocolate Cake

Talk about rich, these flourless chocolate cakes are perfect for sharing. This coming from a girl who NEVER shares her dessert. I would highly recommend making these for Valentine’s Day or any romantic dinner. It’s a great make-ahead dessert recipe for all chocolate lovers.

Baby Registry: For the Parents

Babies require a lot of stuff. You need items for bathing the baby, feeding the baby, clothing the baby, etc. Besides the necessities, it is important to remember that new parents have needs too! Your life is going to be turned upside down so don’t feel bad about registering for some items that will improve your quality of life.

Shrimp Alfredo Lasagna Roll Ups

eight lasagna roll ups in a pan topped with alfredo sauce

I am not a huge fan of lasagna, I think we ate it so often in college that I now have a mental block against it. Unfortunately, my husband loves it. To compromise, I’ve created a lasagna recipe using two of my favorite things, alfredo sauce and shrimp. I hope you enjoy these shrimp alfredo lasagna roll ups as much as my family does!
