Pumping Must-Haves for the Busy Mom

pin image "Pumping Must-Haves" with pictures of all the different items

Our third little one just surprised us with his arrival SIX WEEKS EARLY!! Because he is a preemie, I can only bottle feed him breastmilk until he gains the strength and energy needed to breastfeed (which may take a while). This means I have joined the exclusive pumping club.

I have to tell you, exclusive pumping is so much more work than just whipping a boob out when needed. You have to first pump every 3 hours, then make the bottles, and clean all the bottle and pump parts. It’s a job! But there are items to help make pumping a little easier and more comfortable. Below read what I think are pumping must-haves.

The hours of sunlight are getting shorter each day and that only makes me want to curl up with a good book even more than normal. I hope you find your next great read in my following book recommendations. Plus, with the holidays coming up you might want to start thinking about what books would make great gifts for your friends and family.

Easy Pumpkin Pudding Parfait

I LOVE all pumpkin desserts (as long as there are no nuts included). I wanted to add a simple pumpkin dessert to my many rotating fall recipes that is fast to make, delicious, and kid-friendly. These easy pumpkin pudding parfaits definitely fit that bill.

Easy Weekly Meals Your Family Will Love – Week #11

I have to be honest when I’m pregnant, meal planning and cooking dinners are the last things I want to be doing. That’s why I create these family weekly meal plans. For the weeks when I do not have the time or energy to sit down and meal plan I can just pull up these planned out weekly dinners, print off the accompanying grocery list, and I am good to go. I hope these weekly meal plans make your life a little easier too!

October 2020 Book Reviews and Recommendations

I would recommend all four books I read for the month of October. There’s even a book on this list I gave a FIVE STAR review (that’s rare!). Yes, this month is very female-focused, but I think there is still a good variety to choose from. This month’s book reviews include a historical fiction piece about a female aviator, a contemporary romance, a fascinating memoir by a mother, and a strong voice from the Black Lives Matter movement. I hope you find a book to add to your must-read list!
