
Most people don’t plan on having a baby prematurely. I know I certainly didn’t. I was working through my very planned out third trimester checklist and painting our bedroom on the day my water spontaneously burst (no trickle here!) at 33 weeks. What a year! Thankfully, no matter what craziness in the World is going on I can always turn to reading. Here is the list of my favorite books I read this past year. To warn you, it’s pretty apparent I love historical fiction. Please note that the books on this list aren’t all necessarily published in 2020 they are just chosen from all the books that I read this year. I narrowed my list down to twelve books, one for every month. In no particular order, here are my best reads of 2020;

Between breastfeeding and pumping all day every day I have had a lot of extra time to read. Unfortunately, I feel like I’m in a bit of a reading slump. A few of the books I’ve read lately have been so slow moving I find myself choosing to scroll through social media instead of reading (what?!!). Hopefully, my upcoming reads will hold my interest more. Luckily, for the reviews and recommendations this month I included a four-star review and an easy, cute romance pick.
