This past year my daughters (ages four and two) have started to love chapter books being read to them. Before bed each night my kids each get to pick out two books to read and inevitably one of the girls always picks a chapter book. Depending on the length of the chapters we read one or two chapters a night and then we put a bookmark in to hold our place.
I typically don’t enjoy crafts or making any type of home decor but there are a few instances when I will make the attempt. First, when I can’t find exactly what I want. Secondly, when I can’t find what I want for the price I want (cheap!!). After ordering a number of floral hoop wreaths and being disappointed in the sizes and materials used I decided to try to make my own. I feel like they turned out pretty good! Here are instructions for how to make an easy floral hoop wreath.

Summer is the perfect time to read for pleasure. Below are four new book reviews for the month of June. There are definitely books I would highly recommend this month.
