I typically don’t enjoy crafts or making any type of home decor but there are a few instances when I will make the attempt. First, when I can’t find exactly what I want. Secondly, when I can’t find what I want for the price I want (cheap!!). After ordering a number of floral hoop wreaths and being disappointed in the sizes and materials used I decided to try to make my own. I feel like they turned out pretty good! Summer is in full swing at our house. We are hitting playgrounds, splash pads, and beaches as much as possible and you know I never go anywhere without my Kindle. Summer is the perfect time to read for pleasure. Below are four new book reviews for the month of June. There are definitely books I would highly recommend this month.

Banana Graham Ice Cream

It’s no secret I have a major obsession with ice cream. In my opinion, the more toppings and mix-ins the better (except nuts!!). I love most Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors. One of my favorite flavors (One Love) is rarely available and it features banana ice cream, chocolate chunks, caramel, and graham crackers. I decided that I needed to recreate that flavor at home. Here is my copycat version, I call it Banana Graham.
