
Summer is my absolute favorite time of the year. I don’t want it to pass me by without doing a number of, what I consider, essential summer must-dos. This year I sat down with my family and created a summer bucket list. Below you’ll be able to see the summer bucket list we created as well as print out a blank version for yourself to use! I’ve included some tips to help you get started.

I have a lot of emotions about our country right now. Just thinking about legislatively what has gone down (and what hasn’t) since January is A LOT to handle. When I’m stressed, sad, and angry I turn to books to calm down. Reading before bed is the only way I am able to turn my brain off from current events. But selecting the right book at the right time is important for your mental health too. Here are my four book reviews for the month of May. I hope you find something to help you momentarily escape reality.

I never got around to writing up my March book reviews (that’s never happened before!). Life seems extra busy right now even though it’s really not. Maybe during the pandemic I just forgot how to multi-task? Anyway, I have a ton of reviews backlogged so it’s a possibility I can write two April book recommendations blog posts if I can get caught up on my to-do list. Here’s part one;

I love to celebrate holidays with my children. St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most fun holidays to celebrate because there is no stress associated with it (no gift buying, no traveling, etc). We love to make a leprechaun trap, dress in green, and make fun mint-flavored treats. As with every holiday, we also read a lot of books.
