I’m sure you’ve played this game before in your younger years (while consuming multiple alcoholic beverages) but this edition is appropriate for all ages. Learn more about the mama-to-be and her pregnancy as the questions are asked. It is a great baby shower game to play at the start of a party. Minimal prep needed!
Our daughter’s birthday happened right when COVID-19 starting affecting our lives. For a number of days, my husband and I wavered over whether to throw the party or not. When we understood that a stay-at-home order was going to be placed soon it was an easy decision to cancel. We were still able to give our daughter a special day by having her Lion King birthday party just without any of the guests. I think she had a great time!
Many people might tell you not to register for clothing. For one, people are going to give you baby clothing as gifts regardless of what you register for because it is fun to buy cute baby clothes.
Another reason is that you don’t know how big your baby will be when he/she is born. Maybe your kid won’t ever even be in newborn clothes. Also, you don’t know how fast your baby will grow. If you buy too many clothes in advance the seasons might end up being all wrong.

A simple baby shower game can also incorporate everyone’s love of children’s books. There are a number of ways you can play “Name That Book”. In each version, guests hear quotes from popular children’s books and try to guess the titles. Whoever correctly guesses the most titles wins!
