It’s hard for me to transition to fall because I love summer so much but two things help – apple cider and pumpkin everything. Watching football and drinking a delicious steaming mug of hot buttered rum apple cider is a great way to spend a weekend. Below I’ve included instructions for how to make this tasty fall drink in a slow cooker. It makes an entire gallon so it’s great to serve at a party. You certainly can cut the recipe down to whatever amount of servings you want. Also, you can make this recipe on top of the stove instead of a slow cooker.

I love cherries and summer is the time when we definitely eat the most in our household. Unfortunately, I am not the biggest fan of cherry pie (or any berry pie for that matter). But, I do love crisps! For my mother’s birthday, I made this crisp and liked it so much I knew I had to write the recipe down so I could recreate it again. Cherry Berry Crisp has cherries, strawberries, and blueberries topped with a brown sugar/oatmeal crumble. My favorite way to serve this crisp is warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I love puppy chow! It is my go-to snack for long car rides. For summer, I wanted to make my puppy chow the perfect camping treat so I added some flavors to have a s’mores version. This recipe makes a lot. There will be plenty for traveling, eating around the campfire, and as a reward for making such a tasty snack.

It’s no secret I have a major obsession with ice cream. In my opinion, the more toppings and mix-ins the better (except nuts!!). I love most Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors. One of my favorite flavors (One Love) is rarely available and it features banana ice cream, chocolate chunks, caramel, and graham crackers. I decided that I needed to recreate that flavor at home. Here is my copycat version, I call it Banana Graham.
