Monthly reviews and recommendations about books I am reading plus movies guides on various topics.
The holiday season is upon us and that can mean a lot of extra time for reading! Thankfully, I am a person who is able to read as a passenger in the car because I hate driving. Whether you are flying, driving, or relaxing at home I hope you find the perfect book(s) to keep you entertained. Below are my four book reviews for this month.
I’ve definitely had some time to read these past few weeks. We brought our newborn home and my older children quickly came down with pneumonia, RSV, and COVID so I am isolating in our lower level with the baby. Below are the books I reviewed for October including a simple, cute romance perfect to read around Halloween.
I love curating collections of children’s books for my kids. Whether it is for a specific holiday, season, or activity, books can help us get excited about some upcoming time or event. Below you will find some of our favorite children’s picture books about fall. Celebrate the changing of the seasons and what autumn brings.
This past year my daughters (ages four and two) have started to love chapter books being read to them. Before bed each night my kids each get to pick out two books to read and inevitably one of the girls always picks a chapter book. Depending on the length of the chapters we read one or two chapters a night and then we put a bookmark in to hold our place.
