My goal for this blog has always been to help others with an emphasis on planning and organization.
Planning, organization, and research have always been priorities for me. In fifth grade, my teacher cut me off during a speech because I had done “too much” research on my topic and he needed me to stop talking. Turns out my obsession can benefit you! You don’t have to do hours of research and trial and error because I have done it for you.
Whether it’s sharing my travel itineraries or typing out ALL of my book reviews each month (with accompanying star reviews) – I want to make your life easier! When it comes to holidays, I have recipes, children’s book recommendations, suggested movies to watch, gift guides, and more.
This blog is a lifestyle blog because I could not narrow down my niche. I’m interested in everything! I used to be a Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Ec) teacher and I taught all the subjects that are covered on this blog. Except for medical terminology, I am not going to write about that here.
I have the biggest sweet tooth ever! Seriously, if I could survive on just ice cream, I would. You’ll find a lot of dessert recipes on this blog as well as some great pasta recipes.
I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and have four children. My youngest will be starting preschool soon so I will need to start really focusing on my next career move. How do I find a job that mixes books, has schedule flexibility, allows for my perfectionism/inability to handle criticism, and has a decent income?
We live in the Madison, WI area. While I love everything the area has to offer, the winters are absolutely unbearable. Every year I question why I still live here but then the summers arrive and I get it. My ideal day is spent at the beach with my Kindle in hand (bonus if there’s a Pina colada).
I really hope you enjoy my content. This blog is truly a labor of love.
